Hi there! Happy Monday!
I hope that you are having a great Monday so far! I hope you are having the least Monday-iest Monday ever ; ) Until a few days ago I had never worn a contact in my life and because I do not wear glasses I hadn’t considered wearing them. I knew that you could wear contacts that were nonprescription, but I have always liked my eye color and didn’t think it would be worth the hassle. I was contacted by IRIS Beauty and almost turned down the opportunity to try out some colored contacts for my consideration for review, but decided that I would risk jabbing myself in the eye to give you the low-down on the IRIS Beauty contacts (you’re welcome). Today I will share my thoughts on Iris Beauty Colored Contacts Cosmetic Lenses.
Natural Looking Colors
Composed of several layers, our unique patterned technology enables the lens to block the original color of the iris, giving you a completely fresh look. The safety of your eyes is preserved thanks to the printed layer of the lens being embedded inside two external non-printed layers. You can look for competitors but none have reached this phase of contact technology.
Corrective AND Cosmetic
All IRIS Beauty lenses are available with or without Rx. Iris Beauty lenses cover Myopia from -0.25 to -6. The lenses are also available in a cosmetic version (Plano). All Iris Beauty lenses have the same metrics: base curve 8,6mm & diameter 14,2mm. Iris Beauty lenses are safe to use for daily wear for 6 months after opening.
FDA Approved Quality
IRIS Beauty lenses are designed to provide all-day comfort and sharp vision. The color patterns of the lenses have specific metrics that preserve your sight and give a natural look. They’re made to exacting standards in the manufacturing partner’s state-of-the-art facility, which has been following ophthalmologist’s requirements for more than twenty years.
Made in the United States
All of the lenses are made in the USA by a family-owned business. They have worked for decades with US ophthalmologists selling private label contacts. Iris Beauty can offer you high-quality products that were previously only available from your ophthalmologist’s office.

My Thoughts
I am going to be straight with you (as always!)…at the first attempt I was like “Nope, nope, NOPE!” because if I don’t need to blink awkwardly, eyes watering, why would I?! But I actually LOVED the way these looked. I thought it would take me a really long time to get them in, but it actually only took a couple of tries. I totally watched a YouTube tutorial with a 12 year old sharing her tips, and to her credit, it helped. I don’t think these will ever become a staple in my beauty routine but I am now not against the idea of wearing them every once in a while for a great costume or makeup look. They are beautiful and I am sure I would get used to the feeling quickly. My eyes were not irritated at all after using them, though they did water a lot. I will say that these were not uncomfortable once I got them in, and while I can’t speak to the corrective contact wearers out there I did look up the reviews and people with much more contact lens experience than I have seemed to enjoy these. I love that they’re an affordable price-point and are available online.
Be sure to use the code LEAH15 to save 15% off all of your products. I am interested in trying the magnetic lashes! The website has a lot of great information and beautiful lens options.
