I love doing face masks both for my skincare and for my self-care. Having a fun mask to look forward to at the end of a long day keeps my spirits up and is a great way to pamper myself and doing it multiple times a week helps my overall mental health.
Freeman Beauty Day Nite Mask
I love Freeman Beauty single-use masks because they’re affordable and I do notice a difference in my skins overall look an feel when I use masks a couple of days each week. I was drawn to this mask because it is a 2-in-1 mask with a “Day” purifying mask + cleanser AND “Nite” calming gel mask.
My Thoughts
I used the calming gel mask first because I enjoy using masks in the evenings when I take a bath for part of my evening routine. It felt nice on my skin, and as with most gel masks my skin tone looked even and my overall complexion looks brighter after masking. I used the purifying mask the next day in the afternoon and also found that my skin looked bright and firm after using it. I did like it, however, avoided anywhere near my eye area because as soon as I started applying it that my eyes began to tear up, and I don’t usually have particularly sensitive eyes. I wouldn’t use this mask if your eyes are very sensitive. I had a little bit of the purifying mask + cleanser leftover so I saved it for the next morning to try as a cleanser, and I did like it for that but wouldn’t find it practical to use as a cleanser on a regular basis. Overall I really loved that this one single-use mask actually got me 3 different uses and experiences. I would buy this again and hope Freeman Beauty makes more masks like this.
