Hi there! Happy Monday!
If you’re like me you have at least a couple of shirts or dresses that are hanging in your closest but you never grab because they’re so wrinkled that even a few blasts of Downy Wrinkle Release (if you have survived until now without this I have two questions: 1) How? 2) Why?…here is a link and you’re welcome!) I recently purchased a new compact or “travel” steamer that I have to share with you.
Pur Steam Travel Steamer
I would love to get my hands on the full-size standing steamer, but until I re-work my laundry room or closet to be what I see in the latest issue of my beloved Magnolia, this compact version is both budget and small-space friendly.
You fill it with water (do not go above the max line or you’ll have water sputtering out and it is boiling water!) turn it on and by the time you’ve grabbed your item to steam, it is ready to go. I find that I can steam 2 shirts or dresses if I have it filled to just shy of the “max” line. I use a simple hook on my bathroom door like this and go for it. I try to steam things before putting them back in my closet, but since I pick my clothes the night before I can also plan ahead of time in case something needs a quick steam. I spend 5 minutes from set-up to take-down with my Pur Travel Steamer.
