Another weekend gone in a blink! This week my calendar is filled with Halloween related activities with my Little Loves and Big Love which is so much fun, but also a reminder of how quickly this fall is flying by! Do you have any fun Halloween plans? Do you dress up? I am trying to decide if I will dress up this year, and those adult-sized onesie costumes are looking more and more appealing for my Netflix-and-Wine mom lifestyle.
I am a huge fan of adding layers to take clothes tossed on the body into an outfit, and one of my favorite ways to do this is by wearing open-front cardigans. I use “The Rule of Threes” which means that a shirt and pants is just that but if you add an amazing scarf, pair of shoes, or jacket it becomes an outfit. Well, this past week I was browsing greeting cards at the local Walmart and saw this Time and Tru Double Knit Cardigan that I MUST share with you!
I couldn’t believe how classic this cardigan looked and then when I went closer I couldn’t believe how high-quality the fabric looked and felt. It’s a cotton, acrylic, and polyester blend but it truly minics a sweater with some wool in it. The two-tone look of it elevates it in a way that makes it look more luxurious and high-end. It fits beautifully (I purchased a size small and it’s true-to size for me) with a slightly relaxed fit and a duster sweater length. I like that I can roll up the sleeves, push up the sleeves, or wear the sleeves at full length. This sweater cardigan can be machine washed on the wool/delicate cycle and can be tumble dried, though I will hang it to dry as I do with all of my sweaters. Also, it is $19.96! AMAZING!
I am BEYOND impressed with this and plan to grab it in gray, too!
